We're still plugging along,
living through this cold, but snow-free winter. I've always
thought that if it's going to get this cold, then it may as well
snow, but no such luck. The weather's been really weird, as I
mentioned before, because we got an early dusting and a couple of
heavy hail storms, but nothing else. And no at all in
February, which is unusual.
But that's not to stop me from
getting my share of snow. I'm went snowboarding up in Niigata
Prefecture and get to spend two and a half weeks in Denver, Colorado
for training. I'll tell you more about the trips in later
blogs.
Not much else to report, other
than the fact that everyone finally appears to be over the winter
colds/flu that we've been passing back and forth since prior to
Xmas. It took way too many trips to the hospital, but we are
finally all healthy!
Today's photos were taken
around Hario Shima (island), about 45 minutes south of Sasebo, where
most people rely on fishing and/or farming for their income.
