Having a lot of things to catch up on around the house, I decided to take some time off and use some of my vacation time to try and knock some of these thing out.  In the last week I have completely redone the disaster of a back lawn that the contractors created when they replaced it (see Lazy Dayz) and I also rebuilt the extended back porch of our townhouse.  Still have some other projects planned including a wood deck and a pathway to the back gate but I have to wait for my old body to recover first.

Some other brief notes:

Luna had a pool/pizza party with some of her best friends to celebrate her 10th birthday yesterday and they all had a great time.

Luna also finished 4th grade last week, making Honor Roll for having all "A's & B's."

After passing it every day for the last seven months, we finally went to get passes for the Dutch tourist attraction Huis Ten Bosch (pronounced house ten bosh) which is just a short walk from our townhouse.  We took a quick whirlwind tour through the place and it looks pretty cool so we plan to visit often.  Since they have fireworks every night we will likely spend many evenings over there just walking around - the scenery is much nicer than military base housing.

Today's photos are out of the "archives" taken over the last few months.  Note that I've also added a "hiroglifx" link to the main page menu bar to post some of my brother Joshua's pictures and artwork.  Check it out!
