Well, just like last month we had a little "shake,
rattle, and roll" this morning as more earthquakes hit the Fukuoka area.
The first, which hit at 6:11AM was strong enough (6.8 magnitude)to get
me out of bed, but it was over quickly. A lighter aftershock hit
11 minutes later, then another - just as strong as the first - shook at
around 7:20.
So much for the well-publicized theory that there is
little to no risk of an earthquake striking Sasebo. But I'm happy
that we're getting a series of small shakers, instead the "big one" that
Japan has been expecting.
