Today was a lazy day spent at home, because weather wasn't very good for outdoor activities.  It's supposed to be springtime, but I'm having a hard time figuring out Sasebo's freaky weather patterns.  One day it will be shorts and t-shirt warm at 9:00AM, but the very next day it's so cold that we have to turn the heaters on in the house.

I guess one good point is that we don't get the drizzly "rain-like" crap that is the trademark of Seattle...when it rains here, it pours!  Today's showers were marked with some first-class lightning and thunderstorms - the kind I really like - and some hail. 

Now that's what I call rain!
